Bio
Daniel John Roberts is a guitarist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who pulls inspiration from the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Sting, and many more. He has studied and/or played with the likes of Victor Wooten, Futureman and Jeff Coffin (from The Flecktones and Dave Matthew's Band), Steve Bailey, Tony Levin (bassist for Peter Gabriel, King Crimson) and Adrian Belew (David Bowie, Frank Zappa, King Crimson) among many others.
With the advent of the COVID-19 epidemic, Daniel now also offers private, high quality virtual concerts and custom songs written and performed live from Ivystone Records, Inc. You can commission a song for your wedding, anniversary, graduation, prom, birthday party, private event, corporate event, or any other event your heart desires! With access to the best equipment in the business and the highest skill levels in performance and production in any style of music, Daniel will deliver a concert and/or custom song package you will never forget - no matter where you are in the world right now.
A few other notable things: as a producer and and multi-instrumentalist, Daniel has produced multiple full-length albums through his independent label, Ivystone Records, Inc. - one of which was used to win $18,000 songwriting competition and tickets to the Grammys in 2011. He also produced the 2018 DC Music Rocks Festival at the famous 9:30 Club in DC and was the Creative Arts Director at a startup in California before going back to work full time on his label in 2019.
